Ravenswood Chiropractic & Wellness Center warmly invites you to attend our Acupuncture Open House and Traditional Chinese Medicine Workshop hosted by Tracie Hinton-Chavez, Licensed Chicago Acupuncturist on Saturday: October 2, 2010
ACUPUNCTURE & TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE WORKSHOP begins at 2 PM
Due to popular demand, Tracie Hinton-Chavez, licensed acupuncturist, has recently developed an introductory workshop that explores Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM). Discover TCM and it’s components including; Acupuncture/Acupressure, Gua Sha, Cupping, Moxibustion, and Qi Gong. Enjoy appetizers and Chinese herbal teas during intermission. Then continue your journey of discovery with the exploration of Chinese Herbs with a special emphasis on strengthening the immune system as this year’s cold and flu season begins. This workshop is approximately 90 minutes long.
Tracie is an expert at a variety of TCM treatments for many conditions for residents of all ages in the Chicago area. Among some of Tracie’s clinical interests are: pain management including headaches and fibromyalgia, fertility/infertility, women’s health, digestive disorders, insomnia, emotional disorders including depression and anxiety.
Tracie began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse, during which time she also received her massage therapy license. After becoming interested in acupuncture and receiving over 1,000 hours of clinical training, Tracie obtained her Diplomate of Oriental Medicine and is Board-Certified (NCCAOM) in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
ACUPUNCTURE OPEN HOUSE begins at 3:30 PM to 5PM
After Tracie’s workshop on Traditional Chinese Medicine, visitors can enjoy acupuncture demonstrations, appetizers and refreshments as well as an open topic question and answer session with Tracie and her staff.
